Delurked, if you haven’t checked out the stylist David Zyla’s website I would encourage you to do so. It’s marginal whether the book he wrote “color your style” adds value beyond the website, at least for regular people. I enjoyed it but he is also a costume designer and his ideas definitely makes sense for that purpose and can be a bit literal for more everyday occasions.
Anyway, he has a useful personal color palette plan. Two of the colors are your “tranquility” color (which I think for you might be that shade of brown) and your “dramatic” color, which I think for you is Cobalt.
He has a system for defining the properties of a bunch of other personal palette color names. This is something which I have found useful.He calls them: Essence color, romantic color, energy color, and the top three shades of most common neutral Base colors. For example I’m good in dark mushroom colors for my shades of brown, and your brown top would be too red-toned for me.
