Hi all,

wanted to share some recent purchases that have been wins, in case they help anyone else. Nothing cutting edge or fashion forward - in keeping with my life at home, these are all utilitarian pieces.

Old Navy French terry sweatshirt - the softest, thin sweatshirt in a pattern that feels slightly more sophisticated than typical ON. In person it's more of a sand/taupe faded floral. I'm wearing this on breezy summer nights and loving it. FYI it is cropped and boxy; I got the XS and it was still slightly roomy, but due to the thin terry it lies flat against the body.

Lululemon All Aligned dress: This dress is a lovely light but not see through fabric, with nice fitted armholes and a neat neck. The chianti, which I have, is more of a cool rust colour that I love. It's not a-line; more trapeze shape with lots of fabric, but it drapes very well. I'm 5'4" and it hits me to the knee, which is a great proportion given the swinginess.

Lululemon Time to Flounce skirt I love how light this skirt is and the asymmetrical hemline; I wear it all the time. It is VERY light material ; be warned that it is see-through in light colours. I have the navy which is fine. It's a lot of fabric but it is so thin that it lies pretty flat and drapes beautifully.

M0851 Origami bag - this bag is light, beautifully made, durable, and made of the most beautiful calfskin leather in a glowing pale blue. I love that all their bags are made in Canada, and they pay such attention to detail. The comfortable strap and lightness of this one has put it into permanent rotation.
