I have done a lot of shopping lately- trying to get my summer work wardrobe in order before the heat really hits. Here are a few items that did not work out for me:

1) ponte-knit tie belt midi sheath dress from Old Navy
I wanted to love it, but the color was a little weird, the belt was sewn into the dress so you couldn't replace it easily, and it clung in the wrong spots. It comes in different colors and would work on someone who does not have tummy issues.

2) tie belt jean jumpsuit from Old Navy
This was cute, and fit. I liked it, but would have to belt it with something else. I returned it because it was so difficult to get off. I go to the bathroom too many times a day to struggle with my clothing.

3) high waisted linen-blend straight cropped pants from Old Navy
I liked the way these looked ok, but the fabric is itchy to me, which I am finding with many linen items this year. I am wondering if I have developed an allergy to linen, because this has never been an issue to me before. I am replacing these with Old Navy's high waisted textured twill utility ankle pants, which are nice and soft, lightweight, and more flattering on me.
