I’ve been shopping a bit with a few keepers.

I think I found one of my HEWI’s - a non-lightweight raincoat that’s not black or navy (or some color I can’t or won’t wear). This green one from J Crew fits the bill.

I also got some new jeans that are straight leg and actually look it on me—most straight legs look more like skinnies. The length is neither here nor there - i’ve had this problem a lot lately but haven’t bothered taking anything to the tailor during the pandemic. Cropped jeans would actually be more of a problem at home right now, since we keep the place on the colder side.

The sweatshirt is a bit big in the sleeves but that’s actually good - it’s easier to layer under that way and mostly for very casual wear, around the house.

The white jeans replace the tight ones I just passed on. The striped sweater is fun and has already been worn a couple of times.

Boden dress - very cute and comfortable. Too cold for it now though.

I am unsure about two of the items:

Pink top - should I size down? It seems fluid but not in an intentional way, if that makes sense?

Polka dot top - I expected this to be a knit rather than woven item. I like it, though, but I am a little concerned that the sleeves are too exuberant on me. It’s a nice length for my short torso, which is rare.
