My camera is not charged, so today's pictures are with my phone, which means even worse quality than usual. Sorry about that...

First up is the Macy's INC top that I tried on with Angie, nearly cried when I thought it was sold out, and miraculously found again. The fit in the bust AND the waist AND the shoulders never ceases to amaze me. I would totally duplicate this top if it came in white.

For those of you who have pleather jackets, do you have issues with them being a bit um...sweaty? It was only 60 degrees or slightly less here and I felt rather damp, and I wasn't sweating profusely or anything. I'm not sure how I will wear it when it gets even warmer!

Also, I'm wearing the denim leggings Shana and I both found at Uniqlo last week. They run rather huge so I'm glad I sized down.

As I said it's not really styled the way I would style it, but it was a job well done, at $15 less than what I used to pay. You can't really see the super short layers which are my favorite part...but once I add some goo and straighten them they'll become more visible.

great loot! I love that yellow top on you and the jacket is great too!
I have noticed that about sweating in my pleather when I am wearing a sleeveless shirt.

Yes, pleather does NOT breathe, so it's easy to get too warm. No wonder we're all wearing them unzipped

and your hair looks darling on you -- as do your new shirt and pants and jacket!

Wow! Your new hair style is pretty! The top is great on you. I don't own any pleather or leather jackets so I can't advise on the warmness issues. I just have to say that you look fab!

Ok I realized the picture of my shirt looks miserable, so here is the actual shirt to supplement it...although this picture doesn't really do it justice either. The smocking in the back is really cute and so are the puff sleeves that everyone hates (but they look good on me so I don't care).

I've noticed that my back gets, um... slightly damp in my pleather jacket... this doesn't happen in my leather at all.

Ok, that's the first clear shot I've ever seen of your face. You are sooooo pretty! Love the hair...looks great! The Macy's INC top is gorgeous on you. The fit and color are awesome! Love the pleather jacket, too. I was sad when I saw it at H&M, because my broad shoulders can't handle the puffy sleeves. You rock that jacket...sorry it causes moisture issues. :o)

The shirt looks fantastic, glad you were able to find it. Is it petite? You don't want to duplicate in black?
The jacket looks great, from what I can see. The sweating issue is the main reason I've stayed away from pleather but I do run warm (and I am not prepared to pay for leather).
I really like the new hair, and ditto what Taylor said about bangs and eyebrows.

Love the yellow shirt it's perfect on you. The pleather jacket is great i love the peak on the shoulders. That's always been my worry with pleather and one of the reasons i've avoided buying one. The hair is fab x

I love the shirt and jacket on you! I agree about how pretty you are. Love the hair. What style and brand glasses are those? I will need to get an extra pair soon.
I also wonder if you could duplicate the top in black.
It looks perfect and you do say that you have a hard times finding shirts that fit. Maybe it is sold out in your size in black?
I have pleather jackets and have not had a problem but I tend to run cold.

The shirt fits you beautifully, Maya! I am so glad that it wasn't sold out. The pleather jacket looks great too. I do find pleather can get a bit sweaty, so I avoid wearing it if it will be warm.

That yellow top is great! Perfect for spring.

I don't own a pleather jacket but I have a very cheap pair of pleather knee-high boots and I roast when I wear them. I find them actually warmer than my real leather ones. So I would believe that about your pleather jacket and wouldn't wear it in temps above 60-65 or so.

I already have a similarly cut woven blouse in black from Target, so I don't feel any need to duplicate in black. It would have been beautiful and very useful for me in white though. It is not petite. I know it looks long but I prefer my tops on the long side. It helps balance my short-waist-long-legs proportions a bit better.

It looks like the pleather jacket is going to be a winter jacket. I have a cotton moto jacket that I can wear in spring. I don't wear real leather so it has to be one or the other!

Jean, my glasses are from Bevel Spectacles and the style is called "sweet." They are petite frames to fit my narrow face. Cathy was the one who told me about Bevel specs and she has a pair too. They are expensive but a very worthy investment for me since I cannot wear contacts in winter and I have a very hard time finding frames to fit me.

Maya, what a find! So glad you re-found the yellow top (is that the one you were kicking yourself for passing up?) because it looks great on you.

And I'm sorry to hear this about pleather jackets since I now own one that fits pretty much like scuba gear...

Mine is snug too April, for what it's worth. Angie preferred it a size down from what I usually wear and it definitely looks better. I think it's just not a spring jacket. I'll probably wear it more in fall and winter.

The haircut is the best I've ever seen on you. The clean lines and layers, no bangs, everything Taylor said, I agree.
I love the soft yellow blouse. You're lucky to wear yellow so well, it's such a pretty color for you. The cut of the blouse is very flattering.
This new clean look is helping me see you in your modern, white and black, color block, mod look, it seems I've heard you talk about. You look much more authorative with your hair out of your eyes because the peaking past it gives a shy, hiding, indecisive quality. This is the new and improved look. I love it.
