These two pairs of maternity pants were too short and too wide. They were going into the purge pile when I decided I could try to rescue them. I cut the jeans off into shorts and I tapered the sides of the other pair.

#1 - before pictures of the jeans
#2 and 3 - after pictures. I cuffed them for now, but when the hems unravel, I'll could also wear them as cut-offs.
#4 and 5 - before pics of brown cargo style pants.
#6 and 7 - after tapering the legs to be skinnies. These aren't styled but I think they'll look cute rolled a couple times with sandals.

What do you think? Did I rescue them or should they still be purged?

BTW - the calico is not my cat - we're catsitting for my parents while they are away on a 5 week trip to Denmark, Norway, Finland, Estonia, Russia and Poland (I can't wait until I'm retired and can travel like them).
