I was wondering if anyone would have this issue, since Secret Santa ends after Hanukkah! I think you should be able to open it!

Mine's arrived too, but I'm (not so) patiently waiting. I have a paper due on the 10th, so I'm going through some very mixed feelings about wanting it to come sooner, and wanting it to come much, much later.
