For some reason I feel rebellious today. So I put on all blue, including my BR merino sweater and BR Camo blazer. Ugh. Reminded me that my old school colors were blue & white, but more the Pantone blue. South High Rebels we were, even though we were in the western US. There was an East and a West High. If you saw the James Dean movie, Rebel Without a Cause--my era--we were the Rebels With a Cause! Can't remember what it was. Behave ourselves, I think. Our Pep Club was called the Southern Belles. I wore those red sandals around the house, more comfortable today.
My plan was to go for a walk and the blazer didn't do it, so I put on my Uniqlo rayon shirt from 2-3 years ago, my cat paw socks, and walking shoes. And a scarf. Mostly blue.
I've had a thing for pearls lately and just bought these glass baroque pearl earrings on sale at Brooks Brothers. A bit heavy for walking, though. I like them.
I love the rayon shirt--easy to care for, doesn't wrinkle. For a long time they only came in white, black, navy--basic colors. I just checked now and they come in an array of colors. Hooray.
I did an extra long walk, went downhill to look at my favorite trees, but then had to end by walking uphill.
Last: my little sister as a Southern Belle.
