I purchased these gorgeous shoes

on Sunday (an they arrived on TUESDAY! [reason #9 why I love Nordstrom, by the way]) and I noticed today that they had decreased in price yet again.
Five minutes of my time chatting with the service representative got me the difference credited back to my card.
Many of my friends don't understand why I shop there because it is more expensive, but I'd rather shop somewhere that will take care of me and stand behind the products they sell. Even if it means I can't afford to buy as MUCH. Which is fine by me.

That is a gorgeous shoe. I wonder why my package is taking so much longer? I ordered something last week, and it won't be here until Friday.

Khris... I was surprised that her order came so quickly too. I placed my order last Tuesday (I think) and it came yesterday. Not complaining though as it was free shipping

I think order delivery time depends on where the item is coming from and where you live. My Nordies orders always take a week or so to arrive.

I guess I'm the only one who doesn't love Nordstrom. Actually, any place that is valued for its customer service never seems to impress me, and certainly never enough for me to spend so much more money. I guess it's a combination of being cheap and having high standards...

Well, I'm glad they are good to the rest of you in any case. It's always a relief to have a price match guarantee.

I haven't had enough experience with Nordstrom to love them yet. I don't need experience with those shoes to love them. Gorgeous!

I love Nordstroms. I find sometimes it is easier for me to online shop with them than go to the actual store. I love it because of the quality, personalized service and return policy.

Those shoes are gorgeous! I love Nordstroms too. They have always gone out of their way to be helpful. At the store I especially appreciate that the personnel will tell you honestly whether or not something works on you even if it may mean missing a sale.

You have great taste and high standards Sarah, great taste in shoes and high standards in your choice to shop with Nordstrom's.

I have been price adjusting alot lately because I had several things I bought before the women's half yearly sale and when I saw the items on sale I just called, and they adjusted 100's of dollars in my favor. When Nordstom's has a sale it is a serious decline in prices.

Sometimes I get an email from Nordstrom's that they are sending a few items from my order, and a few will take longer to arrive for one reason or another, but they always email me and tell me when to expect the pkgs. Some things must come from a different warehouse further away.

I love Nordstroms. I used to think they were for rich people only, until I started shoping there and realized that the sales mean I am not paying much at all, and the commitment to their customers is amazing. I can pay $50 for a $100 dress, rather that pay $50 for a $50 dress.

I love Nordstrom's too. When I can buy the item at another place or Nordstrom's I tend to go with Nordstrom's because of the ease of returns if I need to. I've never had an impolite sales person, online or in person, and the merchandise I receive in the mail is always packaged beautifully and has been accurate. I've never been in the store for more than a few moments before a sales person offers a greeting and help.

I love Nordstrom. Our local store is friendly with excellent customer service. I'm not a big spender, but I've even received thank-you notes from associates after a purchase. It's always a pleasure to shop there and it's sometimes a shock when I go somewhere else and I forget that it isn't like that everywhere. My standards are certainly not low but Nordstrom usually manages to exceed them.

Good point, Beth. I love getting the thank-you notes in the mail after a purchase. The one time I purchased something at Saks, I also got a note. It's funny how it's just the little things that are so impressive.

The little things do make a difference. For some reason I love how the sales clerks at Nordstrom walk around the sales counter to hand me my bag instead of handing it to me over the counter. I like to think I don't have an inflated sense of self importance but it holy moly that makes me feel so appreciated. If I ever own a store that is one thing I would do for customers.

That's nice to hear they treat you so well Sarah. I wonder if they would make a similar price adjustment for international purchases that then go on sale......yes I am still stalking the Eric Michael boots and Soffts Rachelle's....both are refusing to go on sale!!!!
