I just opened one of my two shipments and saw that there was a mistake in the order (first time). I received some sale-price leggings I hadn't ordered (but could use), and a pair of NYDJ jeans that I had ordered were not there, and I'd been charged for the higher-priced jeans when the order processed. I did the chat with the sales person, which was a little tricky, and after she told me she would figure out how to calculate crediting me back, she adjusted my account for the leggings and said she would ship me the jeans for free!
I thanked her and said I was so happy to be supporting Nordstrom. She was glad. (It's online chat, so I'll take her word for it...)
