I used to have sock boots (but not as cool as these). The socks were attached so washing them was a challenge. I probably wouldn't buy another pair after that experience.
I am smitten with the elastic sided boots which are Parisian cousins to my daily work boots.
Probably they don't have the requisite steel capped toes so darn, no good for me after all.
are the sock shoes the fashion equivalent of training wheels? so that those of us not sure how to pull this look off, can practice without falling off the fashion cliff?
