real v faux leather leggings / trousers

Hi all i havent posted here for a while and again im asking about leather leather leggings i was just wondering is there many of you guys wear leather leggings this winter and if so are you going for real or faux i have a pair of faux but would really love a pair of real leather leggings any input would be great

I had a pair of thrifted real leather trousers but have "outgrown" them. They are warm and great protection against cold winds. I suspect faux leather would be too ... and washable.

I find a lot of the faux leather leggings tend to be warmer as they have an extra layer sewn into them so that you can wear them out even during the cooler season.

I however like the look and feel of the real leather leggings. Those I almost always wear with a pair of tall boots in a colour that provides contrast with those of the leggings.

Thank you for advice ladies i think i will try to find the perfect pair of real leather ones i know they might be more expensive but its nice to have the real thing.

There was a seller based in the US on eBay who was selling tailored leather leggings for $100, IIRC. I dont what the quality is like, though, but that might be an option, depending on the return policy.

Well, I'm in California and am afraid of PETA, so I only wear faux... Lol.
