I am really looking forward to the autumn at this point. We are also having an unusually hot summer here and I am not fond of heat at all. Also summer is not my favourite fashion seazon, it will be nice to wear “real clothes” again. I love autumn and winter in terms of dressing. So yes, waiting impatiently for the autumn and look forward to wearing my new coats, wool trousers and pencil skirts and boots...

I like summer, but I also like getting to wear boots and tights and cozy dresses. This time of year I really cannot start longing for it, though. It won't even begin to get chilly until late October. Mid November is reliable fall weather, but it's an awful a long ways away. Each fall I watch the forecast, counting down until we have daily highs below 95, then below 90, then below 85...

I'm definitely getting ready for fall, and I'm anxious to change out my closet (though it is still far too early). I have been evaluating and making purchases, so I am all set in the pants, footwear and coats department, but I really need tops. I had trouble last year, too, which is why I am short on tops that work for my wardrobe. So I hope to find some before it gets cool enough to wear them.

We are having an exceptionally hot and humid summer. I love it and can easily wait much longer for fall.

I love autumn. Cool nights, sunny days in the mountains. And hopefully some rain to end the California fires and clear out the smoke.
