Blush is one of my key colors, and I consider it a year-round color. Citron doesn't look good on me, but if I wore citron (or any yellow), I'd certainly consider using it to brighten up a winter look. I think wearing color is so uplifting when the skies are grey and daylight hours are short.
Here are two photos from my wardrobe with blush used in fall/winter looks.
Photo # 1: White jeans, coral sweater, blush scarf, rose gold shoes
Photo # 2: White jeans, taupe shoes and tunic sweater, cream coat (and, not pictured, blush scarf).
I also have a very pale blush chunky sweater that I'd wear with either of these ensembles, and that I often wear with a cream colored skirt, cream tights, and taupe boots. No photo of it, unfortunately. But maybe these can help give you and idea of how some of these colors could work with your own wardrobe and style.
Adding a scarf and/or shoes are always a good way to start experimenting with and bringing in a new color.
