Re-purposing a men's shirt for YOUR wardrobe - would you try it?

Came across this video while browsing my newsfeed on Facebook. The idea sounds unconventional and frankly, a little weird... but if you watch the video - some of it really doesn't look so bad! I'm definitely going to my parents house to dig out whatever old dress shirts my dad would never wear again the next chance I get.

What do you gals think?

I like the funk of the first couple strapless looks, but it would have to be a super long shirt - the way hers is working is too short for me. Although, maybe it would be cute over a long sleeved tee and skinnies...

Cute looks but they would not look so hot on me. I particularly liked the ruffle effect made by mis-matching the buttons.

No, probably not. I tried some of the looks with one of the shirts belonging to my boyfriend, and it just looked kind of "strange". Definitely not my taste, but it might look fine on someone smaller than me. I just felt as if I had put on a badly fitting shirt...

This is the kind of thing that looks so cool in the video, but if I were to try it on it would look awful. I can sew and knit just fine, but if I try to adjust my clothes like this they just look off. I even make my boyfriend tie bows for me because they just don't look as good when I do it myself.
