Ignore my hair (just 8 more days of hair torment)

Would you please give each of these dresses a score of 1-10 please
and tell me if you see each dress as a daytime casual (grocery store, lunch with friends, etc) appropriate option

I had pics of shoes, but I'm returning them (the shoes in 1-4) I'm really bummed too because I saw them yesterday at Kohls but couldn't use my $10 coupon yet, so RACED over there first thing this morning to snatch them up before anyone else did. Grrr... a waste of a coupon!

First 3/4, then 9/10, then 5/6 and the others are just so-so to be completely honest. IMHO

Dress 1: 7. Casual occasions. I don't like the way the designed is not lined up on the side.

Dress 2: 6. Looks too big?

Dress 3: 10. Love it! Great for daytime casual. Looks crisp and cool!

Shoes: I would prefer with jeans only. Not so fond of the high vamp with your skirts.

Everything is just my opinion, of course!

Dress 1/2 - 6-7
Dress 3/4 - 8
Dress 5/6 - 10!!!

I'm not liking the shoes in 1-4 with the dresses either, but the shoes 5/6 are great!
I think both 3/4 & 5/6 are great daytime casual dresses, and could be worn for many occasions, both look like they could be dressed up too.

Dress 1: 5/6, it looks good from the front but from the side is weird.
Dress 2: If you could shorten the torso half of the dress(sorry don't know how to explain) it would be a 10
Dress 3:10.Daytime casual or dressier, it is a very beautiful fit and flare dress.

1.) 6...would be cute with a 3/4 sleeve cardi, and some cute accessories for a lunch w/ the girls!

2.) I don't care for this one

3.) I love this! Again, you could add a bright cardi to change it up a bit!

I ADORE 3/4 and 5/6!!!!! You look terrific! And I like the shoes!?

I think they all look about like 8's
all pretty for different reason
I like the sheath...it seems to fit/skim the body well, and is fun for spring/ summer
I like the fit and flair of the other 2..fun and kinda retro , and flattering on your silhouette

Of the three I like the last dress best but can't rate it a 10. The fit and length and pattern are all great but the black and white is just ok on you: 9.
#1: 7 (ok but doesn't flatter)
#2: 6 (the colors are great on you but it looks too big.)

The first one looks nice on you and looks like a good summer casual daytime dress. Is it a knit fabric?

The middle one with the blue and orange I don't care for. The colors look muddy to me. Is this one a cotton weave?

I love the black and white dress on you for so many reasons. It fits beautifully, is fun and flattering. I love, love, love this one!!

I liked one from the front but not as much from the side so I'm giving it a 5-6. I thought two was cute but the shoes are cutting the legline and it is hard to pull off with the skirt length. I see that there is a built-in waist but it fades into the dress. I would add a belt to bring out the waist and then it would be a great errands or casual lunch dress. Probably a 7-8. Dress three is a winner. I would give it a 9-10 and wear it to work on a casual day or out for lunch or even a casual dinner.

Okay, I'm going to post without looking at other comments.

1. Looks old-fashioned to me, not feeling it.

2. A little blah. The top looks like it's kinda squishing the girls flat. . . or maybe you're not wearing the best bra for the dress? (sorry if that's too personal!)

3. I like the idea of this one but I'm not loving the black/white with your complexion and hair color. Wondering about the girls being squished again, too.

I like the silhouettes of 2 and 3 better than 1--the nipped-in waist and fuller skirt is cute on you.

I'd go with 8, 5 and 7.

I love the relaxed springy brunch-appropriate vibe of the first one.

I am not feeling the second one - the blue section on the top defines your waist well but ends up a little too far on the torso and I am not fancying the colors of the skirt portion.

The last one is a great shape for you and fits well, but I think you can do better on the color and pattern.

Wow, you guys are all over the map with these.

Heather, I"m returning the shoes because they aren't as versatile as I thought they would be. I need to be able to wear them with dresses and these won't work with the longer hemline dresses.

Alicat-- you are quite observant. I'm wearing a non-seamed bra today. It does make a world of difference in how the girls look in fitted stuff!

I have the same feelings that some of you expressed about the second dress. The coloring in teh center just isn't working right. It fits nicely in the top half, but the skirt is cut funny.

I thought I really liked the first one in the dressing room, but I feel that it could be dated pretty quickly.

I think I won't keep #3 either. I love the cut adn fabrication, but I see what some of youare seeing. A different print/ color combination would be even better.

I won't add another dress that isn't a 10... so it's looking like they will all go back. (in my defense, #2 and 3 were ordered online

Firstly I want to stress how stylish and pretty you are. Why do you say your hair is a torture? I find it looks so good!

Dress 1 : 4/10 doesn't do justice to your fit body. Belt it and it will end up too short. Better toss it.

Dress 2: Aaaargh! (runs to take cover).

No but seriously. This Nicaragua jungle Sunset is not doing you any favors, nor in the colors, nor in the cut. You fit it because you have a nice body : but just because you fit in it doesn't mean it fits you.

Dress 3: 9/10! Very nice! And nice shoes too! I agree with comments about the color. Add a colorful accessory!

Kim, #1 is from Loft, right? How did you like the back tie? I didn't get it because of that but I'll have to try it again and see.

The rating system is too hard for me to decide so i'm just going to say i really like the last dress. The middle one has potential...i want to put a wide-ish belt with it. And the first dress i don't care for.

elpgal- yes, #1 was from Loft. I loved the detail of that back neck tie.

I think I should do a different pic of #3 not standing in front of the white bathroom door and with my face showing before I make a final decision. That might give us all some better clarity.... stay tuned

I actually like dress #2 but the fit seems off. Maybe it needs ironing so we can see better how it drapes. I also want to see it with your wedge sandals.

My 2 cents:

Dress 1: 7 looks good on you...I think you live in a climate where you can wear this a lot...in my neck of the woods I might be able to wear it once or twice a year
Dress 2: 2 colors are too muddy with your coloring, I think
Dress 3: 9, very sharp look, crisp and cool-looking...me likee!

You have great taste, good luck as you decide which to keep and/or return.

I agree that #1 and #2 aren't the best. I do like the style of #2, but not the colour/print.

#3 I do like, it would be great with a hint of red or bight yellow somewhere.

Hmmm... I'm no good at ratings, so I'll just give my two cents, even tho it sounds like you've made up your mind. I actually like #1 quite a bit in that waste-surrendering sort of way. I think it looks a bit strange from the side only because you're holding up your arm to take the photo. And #3 is very flattering on you. I'm not so fond of #2.

oh no, my mind isn't made up... it changes every 5 minutes.

I am feeling the same way as you about the floral dress Sarah. We don't walk around with our arms up, and I was really drawn to the lightweight summery feel of it. I had played with styling it the other day. But I don't want to be limited to having to style it t to wear it. I wanted something I could throw on with a pair of sandals and bop around town on a hot day. What do we think now? I'm really not trying to sway anybody.

haha- and I like the Kohl's sandals with it... maybe I won't return them after all.

I'm feeling overwhelmed in the print of number 3. I'm going to try it again and style it, but I can't have any negative feelings to decide to keep a dress.

I actually like it on it's own, as in the first photo - it's so light and summery, and your legs look fabulous. I think the dark jacket and boots weigh it down.

Okay, I'm seeing only three dresses. The blue multi-color v-neck is KILLER! At least to my eye. You are a total knockout in it. The black and white one is a close second. I see the appeal of the floral one, but I'm not loving it as much.
