Thanks to all who weighed in on kitten names. One look at our new baby last Friday and there was no doubt he is Ralphie.
He.is. Adorable. And super fun and playful and curious. And snuggly.
Our older cat gave me total side eye when we got home from the shelter. Like, you have GOT to be kidding me with this. Ralphie, who had been in a foster home with 2 older cats, his litter mate, and 2 kids, had zero interest in a breaking-in phase. We had a room all set up for him to stay in for a few days so he and Bowie could acclimate. That lasted about 3 hours. It only took Bowie 2 days to come around, and today they’re playing paws-under-doors and touching noses.
We got nothing done all weekend because we either were playing with Ralphie, or gazing lovingly upon him while he slept. Smitten.
