I bought this cobalt Eileen Fisher raincoat back in July, and nearly had a stroke paying for it (even at the deeply discounted outlet price). I think this is my 3rd or 4th wearing of it this fall - I'm grateful we've actually had some rain this fall so I could get some use out of my splurge (the previous 2 years have been major droughts). Anyway, I definitely enjoy such a shock of color on a dreary rainy day!
1 The cobalt coat in all its glory worn with dark blue skinny jeans tucked into knee high boots and a floral scarf.
2 Underneath - more cobalt! (I wasn't kidding about wearing cobalt like a neutral).
3 I bought these Duo boots as a reward to myself when I passed my comprehensive exams 2 years ago. If you have hard to fit calves (slender or large) I highly recommend Duo boots. I have 19 inch calves - too large even for most wide calf boots, and have bought around 5 pairs of Duo boots over the last several years. They are not cheap, but well worth saving up for if you have hard to fit calves.
