Wow, what fantastic dresses! Small independent boutiques often have the most interesting things. I am impatient to see you wear them.

These are absolutely stunning! What fun that you get to shop in France and the Netherlands! What you bring back will be so unique and feel like a real reward for all your hard work with weight loss. I can't wait to see these on you.

How FUN to see you in brights and hectic patterns. WOOOHOOO! I'm soooo glad you're shopping abroad. It's very worth it.

Ooh these are stunning and so different! I can't wait to see them on!

These are absolutely gorgeous, Toban.

Toban, I don't suppose you'd like to start a little import business for all of us???

Nice! Those would be popular in my town. Can’t wait for the Netherlands

I go to dc a lot. Lately, twice a month. I’ve shopped with @Janet and @Dee a couple of years ago. always up for mini meet ups.

Toban, the colors and patterns of those dresses are stunning! I see a common theme that reminds me of the way light and color look when seen while looking through the leaves of trees in spring just before they are fully open. It’s a beautiful dappled effect that is magical and happens for only a short time, but is somehow captured by these beauties! Enjoy your travels!

Bj1111, I’m up for a mini meet up on one of your trips to DC. I don’t actually know where to shop — other than the malls. We’ll have to figure out where some of the boutiques are and get advice from other DC YLFers.

What treasures and lovely reminders of your trip. I like everything but especially 2-3, and 1 and the colorful tee.

Beautiful pieces - can't wait to see what you find in the Netherlands!

Such great luck! I can’t wait to see them styled. I have a particular soft spot for 5he Jackson Pollack.

Love these dresses. What fabulous prints.

Stunning dresses! I will be in Lyon in 3 weeks, mind sharing the name of the Botique?

Mtnsofthemoon ... I don’t have the name (can likely get it off my credit card statement) but I know where it is located. When I am on my laptop rather than mobile I’ll get its name and address for you. It’s near Place Bellecour.

Thank you. We are staying very close to Place Bellecour.

What a run of dress luck!

Here’s a quick WIW of the paint dress with simple neutral flats. I am foing to get the dress hemmed a little shorter (to above the knee) on recommendation of the salesperson, but it works at this length, too. As for shoes, so many colors work. I choose these because I really wanted flats tonight because of some leg pain from lots of walking in (modest) heels on my trip.

OOooooh the print and colors are spectacular! By chance do you remember the name of the shop you found the amazing dresses in? I will be in Lyon in a few weeks and am dying to check out the store where you had such success. Thx.

Hi mtnsofthemoon, I haven’t forgotten your request but I am on my mobile. I shall look it up tomorrow on my laptop. Cheers!

That dress is stunning on you! Just so flattering.

Mtnsofthemoon, I think I found it even on my mobile. Will verify with street view tomorrow. I think it is Scenario, at 43 Rue Victor Hugo, 69002 Lyon-2E-Arrondissement, France.

Bonus 1: a great restaurant near there. We were heading back to the hotel from this restaurant when I spotted the store. The salad lyonnaise is fantastic. As is the chocolate mousse. http://www.lepoelondor-restaur.....m=referral

Bonus 2: the store I got my navy dress was Maier Vintage on rue President E. Herriot, one block off of Place Bellecour (other side).

Bonus 3: great necklaces at Stella Stellina in Old Lyon. Handmade and painted glass bead necklaces. I now have two, one from each trip, plus I picked up two for gifts.

Thank you Toban. I have all your fabulous recommendations in my phone! Can't wait. Fingers crossed I have half the fortune you did

LOVE that paint dress! Great finds!

Keeping it going with Team Wear, I am wearing the green/orange dress from my travel finds for today’s hot and humid errands. I really like the two tier hem. I also like that multiple shoe colors would work.

So now I have worn every one of my 4 new dresses at lwast once (navy dress twice). Still need to get photos of the navy dress and orange poppy dress.

Love this with your sandals! The colors in the dress really seem to harmonize with your natural coloring. Good job putting new items into rotation right away!

These dresses are both gorgeous on you! Fantastic choices. I actually like the paint spot dress at the length it is -- elegant. But if you do decide to hem, do a sit test first. Skirts this shape can ride up quite a lot. Love the paint spatter dress especially, but both are wonderful!

Love both dresses on you, specially the first one, the colors are amazing. I like it as is, but you know better what is the best length for you. The second one looks better on you than on the photo.
