Raincoats colors; update at end

A long time ago Jenava recommend a Stutterheim raincoat to me.
I think I need a non-gear coat for bus commuting in Seattle. With climate change the standard Seattle drizzle is less frequent. When it does rain it's heavier. Although this winter has been drier overall; snow pack in the mountains is bad.
So I'm looking at these, looking at their size chart I need an XXL (yay boobs :/ )
Neon yellow is not my best color, but I like the mix.

All of these are very you, Anna, and I really love them all. Agree that the Mondrian one is a-ma-zing, but any of the others will look equally fab!

#4 is my favourite - but ouch! The patchwork with the neon and tan is next. More interesting than the other two, or the other colour-block IMO.

I wish the colors on the first one were swapped for you, because that would be my favorite. I like the patchwork one, too. The Mondrian one is also awesome, but because that painting is so famous, it almost feels too...expected, compared to the others.

Agree with Jenn about the neon- I wish the colors were reversed, so that the pink was near your face. I actually like the lavender one the second best, so clearly I’m an outlier.

I was going with the patchwork coat until I saw the Mondrian number. I also liked #3. I think you would look fab in any of them. Sorry to be of so little help—though if forced to choose, I might go with the patchwork coat.

I agree with Jenn—the Mondran is easy to pass by, because it’s so familiar. I like the yellow one best, because it looks freshest.

I'm not looking at other responses first, so as not to color my reactions...

I kind of love the Mondrian, just on principle alone. I know Mondrian tributes are done a lot, but I find this one rather well executed, and it's kind of timeless, really.

But my favorites for you are the second and third. If the color blocks were reversed on the first, then maybe... but I'm not wild about that neon yellow anyway (sorry, just me and neon are not on great terms, never have been). You wear those pink and violet shades really well, and they're unique. I like that olive patchwork from Nordstrom and think it would look great with your eye color, but against the others it seems too subdued. I like the idea of a more colorful option for Seattle.

I like the violet one, and the pink/ neon yellow one the best. Are these coats warm enough for your winter? I have looked at them before and it seems they aren't insulated at all -- just a rain barrier.

They are really great coats.

I go around in circles looking at them so I can’t decide. Maybe the purple on is my pick.......the Mondrian is very cool and fluro has a practical element to it.

I will think about your bag and footwear and what your heart tells you. I don’t think you can really go wrong.

Aside from being waterproof, visibility is very important when it’s raining. I used to wear an entire Helly Hansen suit when I sailed in San Francisco. The bright yellow made it easier to find someone if they fell overboard.

the lavender stripe would be a flattering color on you for sure. I love the style of the yellow/pink--especially the reflective strip. but I hear you on the yellow next face.

the patchwork is unique--maybe more so than the stripe. I like the mondrian, but it also feels a bit expected, but that might just be my reference point

These are really cool looking coats. I lean toward the patch tobacco motif, because I love the asymmetry of it, including the one pocket welt in neon yellow. I do like the Mondrian, but I feel like that design has so often been copied; the others are less expected. And of course I like the sage green one that you have eliminated, but for me rather than you.

So I ordered the patchwork tobacco color from Nordies, they're doing a price match from Stutterheim, and I had notes.
Also got this faux fur coat, fingers crossed it's fits, size chart was borderline for me.
Supposed to arrive before Christmas
