Now I have lost track, but neither of the pictures jumped out at me...but I was impressed that your skin looked great with both colors. Of the others posted, I love the grey silver camo one..

Ok, I walked the Nau out and around the block since our temps dropped a lot tonight - it is pretty hard to argue with the fabric. Comfy against bare skin, wicking, and SO light. I would be able to fold it up into a backpack or messenger without straining my neck. LOVE that.

This was a big lightbulb moment for me - those three things are pretty much at the top of the priorities list: soft, wicking, and LIGHT (not only for travel but also because it is not very cold here). So the NF has to go back for sure.

I may hold onto the Nau as a security blanket and wait see what the Spring lines shake loose. I have time to return later if something really wows.

Rae I havent read all the comments. But I do love the green one on you. I like the shape, the fit, the length etc.

Hands down I would pick the North Face coat because my brother works for them. They have sponsored his climbing career since the 80s. So I am biased. Which means my vote doesn't count.

But besides that, I prefer a classic trench coat over a colored one. I love my London Fog!

I like the idea of silver camo - as long as it's sublte. Otherwise you'll be bored with it fast is my hunch. And definately a shorter length.

Did read that you are hanging onto the NAU. You have to wear it - not me. That's the most important factor in all of this

Rae, I'm in agreement with Angie. I do prefer the shorter length on you. But I totally understand your wanting a lightweight, packable trench.

By the way - I missed your new hair cut! I am only seeing it now. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!

P.s. According to UPS, this arrives in the mail today. Cross fingers it fits. I already own three trenches but I just could not resist the shiny patent ... reminds me of a favorite trench I had back in my 20s! Unfortunately that trench (which was made out of some rubberized material) met an untimely demise when I left it all scrunched up in the back of a car, and it melted into permanent wrinkles... hopefully this one won't do that...

My first thought in seeing your photos was the trench looked better on you, in size and cut. But the style is really classic, and I don't know if that's what you're looking for.

I love the idea of the camo!
