Rain hats

My fringe looks absolutely horrible after it has been soaked in the rain. I think some kind of bucket hat is in order. Where can I get a cute one? I used to do the Grace Kelly scarf, but it won't cover my fringe unless I pin it back (which poses its own problems).

I took a peek at Target, I saw some really cute ones there this winter. It is not really the season for these yet, I bet you will have tons of new choices in the fall.

Nice thought Dusty, but there is no way a man's hat will fit me!

Maybe I should be like those old ladies with plastic tied around their heads..

I did a quick search and came up with the following:

Knowing Etsy sellers, I bet that they could make a hat to your head measurements...

If your head is particularly small, you could consider looking in the children's department. My Mum has a really small head and buys sun hats or caps in children's sizes.

I can offer absolutely no suggestions (sorry!), but I had to snicker at your comment about the old ladies with the plastic tied around their heads. I remember my grandmother pulling out her blue plastic rain hat whenever it started to rain. I'm quite confident that there are much for fashionable options for you out there, Maya! No plastic grandma hats for you!

I'm experiencing the same thing - I usually resort to an umbrella, but when I'm wearing my hooded casual jacket on weekends, the fringe (and my face!) get wet. I'm leaning towards rocking a newsboy cap under my hood in the future, but I'm really interested to see other people's suggestions!
