After so many years of California drought, I barely recognize the wet stuff falling from the sky. But with more storms on the way, I decided it's time to relook at my rain gear....which is sorely lacking.
Up first was rain boots - 5 year old Target galoshes weren't going to work. I was hoping to get away a small purchase here, but didn't quite work out.
Sam Edelman's: cute, but the blue rubber just looked off to me. Also, they were too short - I want to go splash in some puddles!
Ilse Jacobsen; LOVE. They fit well, love the lining, and the color makes me happy. I almost went with orange, but red goes with more of my wardrobe.
Up next - maybe a casual rain coat? I have a lovely purple trench from last season that works for business. But I think I need something more fit for running errands in jeans and my new boots. Any recommendations?
