Inge, I am eyeing the ones on this lady. I know they are quite popular, and it makes me feel like a bit of a follower, but for some reason the style is just really speaking to me. They are pretty hard to track down, especially if I don't want to pay import duties. The Pistol style from Acne is pretty similar but doesn't have quite the same thing going on and is actually slightly more expensive. There is a much more reasonably priced bootie from Ash that is cute, but it's not quite chunky enough. I don't normally spend this much on shoes, but for various reasons I need not to buy clothes for awhile, and being a boots girl I know I would wear the heck out of these if they are comfortable as they are supposed to be. I wouldn't mind finding something cheaper though. Any thoughts are welcome...
