I know most people wouldn't believe if I told them that I had a leather jacket hanging in my closet right now that was bought for me by someone I had never met from 3,000 miles away!
A casual offhand comment in her post that I would buy the jacket off Rae if she lost her willpower to leave it behind, had her almost immediately asking if she should go back to the store and pick it up for me. Really? Why, yes, thank you! I mean, here I am tempting someone back in to purchase a jacket they just left behind after much inner debate between need and want.
And so, she did just that. Actually, she went back and bought it twice, the second time in cash, so that I would have no trouble with returns should I not like it. Oh, and she did all this and then waited for me to have my credit card billing cycle roll over before I even paid her for it!
Her kind effort scored me a designer leather coat at $700 off retail price - all out of the kindness of her heart, and the thrill of making someone else's shopping dream come true.
Recently Rae made a big decision to leave her banking job to move into fashion as a career. I would say my experience was a 10 - she'd make a great personal shopper for anyone!
Hip Hip Hoo RAE!!
