You know, I have not seen this particular coat but I did stop by the Desigual store last time I was in NYC, and I have to say that I was not impressed. I think someone here once mentioned that in Spain Desigual is considered kind of a "juniors" type brand and I think it unfortunately shows in the fabric quality and workmanship. A lot of the coats felt like they were made out of that icky, plasticky feeling poly. Full disclosure though - they were also playing very loud music in the store a la forever 21, which I really dislike so I was already feeling cranky.
I actually went into Desigual the other day, but they didn't have this one. They did have the striped jacket that converts to a vest, and the bust area was very long on me - kind of like a tank that needs to have the straps shortened, only.. you know.. impossible to fix.
So I'm staying away from Desigual stuff that hasn't been tried on. :_(
Ah, good to know! The only thing I have is a canvas print bag which is great for summer and has held up well, but I would not want to buy clothes without seeing in person first.
