I saw these pants at All Saints and immediately thought of you two. I have no idea of the fit as I didn't try them on.

I'd been eying those, too! I might try the camel if my Esprit pants don't work out...

Since you saw them in person, do you think they are hefty enough to not look like khaki's/chinos in the camel color?

I think I am seriously going to have to check out Allsaints stuff once I'm off SYC. Even just the jewelry or accessories would add the perfect edge.
Those pants rock! *Someone* needs to get them.

Those pants are awesome -- but I always worry about pants with cool detailing at the hem for short people (like me) since they are often not amenable to a simple hem job...

Got myself to Bloomies on the way home from whale watching - the pants are very nice in person, but the size 10uk was too big and the size 8 was way too tight for work. Una, since you are slimmer through the legs than me, they might work for you. The length was great on my at 5'4" - would not have needed any hemming.

I also tried on a pair of tweedy brown ones. They were very cool and were the first fully-lined pants I've seen in ages, but the dropped crotch was too exaggerated for my office. Borderline cropped, but not if you ride them on your hips as I believe is intended. Really cute for the right setting!

Rae, sounds like you tried on the ones I ordered (was the color oak?). Drop crotch is not okay for my work either, and I seem to remember it being frowned upon in general here. I'm hoping they lean more toward slouchy than crotchy, so to speak.
