It’s maybe time to replace gear. It’s all 25 years old. It’s sad: my hiking boots were finally to the point where they were comfortable... but when I got in the car, I had to get right out and go get my trail runners. Soles of the boots were disintegrating! I thought it was mud from the garden at first... but no! It was pieces of boot I was leaving behind!
