I saw a video clip on Facebook about a designer, who is diabetic, making clothes with easy access for injections for diabetics. I thought it was neat and thought of you.

Me too! What a great idea. Dresses are the hardest and the one pictured would be a nightmare if not carefully designed.

Joy and Rachylou, it's neat to see a designer working on this type of clothing; I hope more options will be available in the future. I haven't seen much available that looks stylish.

Cute items! This video made me more aware of the issues faced by diabetics--I wouldn't want to have to strip down in a public toilet!

Emily, that's so true. How awkward! And thus your choices are restricted. Rachylou, haha, yes. Fashion and function. I thought the pants with multiple zippers were pretty cool looking.

The zipper pants seem truly functional. Not so sure the grommet ones will work. They prescribed me these new super short needles. Don't know they'd reach thru. The short needles are super annoying. Too short to go thru cloth; awfully easy to pull out before you push the plunger.

Neither length is painful. Insulin needles are very fine. Not like a blood draw or vaccination. I don't know why they made me switch :p Probably increases profit margin somehow!

Oh that's comforting to know. I don't have any experience with needles for diabetes. I was a EMT for a bit but in a rural area and did finger pricks on occasion, and epipens, no experience with any other types.

I wonder if there are etsy sellers who could create clothing with easy access for different medical conditions. Haven't ever looked.

Going into public restrooms is gross. Lol. Dresses can be a real pain. Just the thought of that germy air... you don't want to wave your meds in that air and stick it in yourself. Have y'all seen those reports about toothbrushes in the bathroom? Yucky!
