I bought a few items from Quince for the first time recently. I think one of our featured bloggers had a link to something she was wearing from Quince that led me there maybe? I did a search here, and there had been a few bits of conversation about Quince's washable silk, but no opinions yet.
Can't collect, but here is the link to the washable stretch silk tank I got, and like: https://www.onequince.com/wome.....+silk__des
I don't have any other silk items, so am not great person for comparison to other brands, but I really enjoyed wearing this with one of my Ripskirts this weekend. It's not cropped but is fairly short which was great for an easy tuck (or not) in the skirt. I'd hosted dinner for friends, and as I was cleaning up got some guac on the tank. It laundered beautifully on a delicate cycle, and was easy to iron.
Price is great. Getting a couple more. I also got a cotton fisherman sweater and a pair of ponte straight leg pants in petite. There was a quality issue with the pants, and customer service (chat online) was super efficient and I had a replacement in the mail just a few days later. Initial shipping was pretty slow, though.
Reminds me a lot of Everlane in style. Prices are better. They thanked me personally for my review of the top.
Update: Back to add that I wore the tank again yesterday, with the ponte pants, for a business meeting & lunch. I drove 288 miles round trip. Needless to say, the silk tank did get quite creased during the day. I think I'll stick to wearing it when not driving forever! The ponte pants are very nice - they stretched just enough to not be super form fitting on my behind, but did not get baggy. The fabric is slightly heavy for this time of year, though perfect in the air conditioning. Smooth feel.
