Seen these items recently and on BODIES - FAB quality and fits, and have committed to a few of these darlings. They had to really impress me to earn a place in my wardrobe!

The custom find jeans are by COS, which I bought in NL. They are at alterations having the waist, bottom and hips taken in. Unfortunately, their software no longer works with our Finds software. Here is the link:

I’d love details on the pink Scotch & Soda double-breasted blazer, and the Vagabond booties. The blazer was already on my Nordie’s wish list- definitely a wild card for me, but I’m strangely attracted to it.

I just got both the Boden fish and chips sweater and the wide leg tweed pants in the mail yesterday! Both were immediate keeps, though I chose the dark green in the pants rather than the fuschia.

Thank you for sharing these, Angie. Question to the Scotch and Soda Mixed Artwork sweater, does it have room for a bust? I was thinking of ordering the small, which the model is wearing. I note the arms are very long, so I would not want to go to M to accommodate bust and shoulder fit. FWIW I would be looking to pair it (in white) with dress pant and dress shoes for a fun combo.

Hi Angie, I gave Boden a good try several years ago...maybe 6...and found that everything I ordered was cut too narrow for my IT shoulders. Have you noticed any change in that if you've worked with that brand for clients lately? I know you and Suz are fans but that just reinforces for me that Boden works best on more narrow frames.

Love the floral suit with matching puffer (or that is how it looks anyway). LOVE the plaid (checked?) suit and would definitely pick that first in the imaginary try on room. Love the cut of the tweed pants and I am going for that with some of my intended fall outfits. Shiny boots are gorgeous. Looking forward to seeing altered jeans too!

I’m really thinking about the first Boden sweater and tweed pants.

I love the Scotch and Soda suits, but think that wearing the pieces as separates would suit me better. But the all-over suit is a big part of why I’m attracted to the look. Hmm...

I went down the S&S rabbit hole, along with Janet. I’m curious about the Pyjama Blazer, that matches the side panel pants, too. Did you see that by any chance? And, the JC boots- thoughts on fit? I noticed that they also come in black on the JC website, and I’m looking for some black low-heeled boots.

Some answers

S & S blazers and coats can be fluid or fitted. Depends on the cut. Room for shoulders. I have a S & S three piece suit, and had the pants altered. The rest fit perfectly.
S & S Pants roomy - yet not too straight! I have them all altered on the waist, hips and thighs to fit. All lengths cropped for now.
Scarlet, ZERO problem with a larger bust and the sweatshirt. Try an S.
Kathie, the Vagabond boots are best on lower volume feet and narrow ankles. They fit me perfectly - if that helps? Comfy!
Peri, Boden jackets can run narrow in the shoulder. Coats are varied, and knitwear can run big. I am sized out half the time on all Boden clothing items, if that helps? I don't think the brand is particularly suited to a narrow frame. If they were, I would not be sized out as often, IYKWIM. Some of my broad shouldered clients buy ALL their knitwear from Boden.

Angie, do you have any sense of whether S&S pants are machine washable? There is nothing on the web descriptions at all to indicate this. And these appear to be full length, but no measurements of rise or inseam are given. I suspect they are cut too straight for me (I tried a pair of wide legs at the S&S in Vegas a year and a half ago and they were *thisclose* to working but a smidge snug in the low hip, but who knows, maybe a different style with a little stretch might fit?), but I'd be tempted to give them a try. I can't remember how their sizing runs, I'd probably order a L for some roominess in this style. Gah, I hate pants. They are so hard for me. But sometimes I just wish I had some more casual pants that are not jeans.

Kathie, the red JC booties are a little roomier. Not much! Again, they fit me perfectly - which is unusual since most footwear is too wide these days, and I have to do a lot of insole doctoring.

Janet, I don't know. I dry-clean my two pairs of S&S pants. They are impeccable though. The seat area is not cut straight, so I think you should keep on trying the brand. I saw those navy pants! They looked like regular pants - not sweat pants. They didn't look full length either.
