I had to make a return to Nordstrom’s, and since the new Halogen Atlantic-Pacific line has just been released, and is selling out quickly for some items, I made a stop by my local store. I had a 10yo helper with me- he took pictures, but I had promised him a quick trip, so I didn’t try on everything.

Some notes-

1-2) Hidden Placket Blouse- I loved this. Quality seemed good for the price. I’m wearing an XS in this pic, but decided to order a S, for a more fluid fit through the shoulders. This got a thumbs up from the 10yo. It will be great with the 5 black bottoms I own.

3) Cable sweater- also liked the quality for the price. I tried this, in case I wanted to add a cable sweater to my wardrobe. But, it doesn’t seem like something I want right now. The 10yo did not think the gray was a good color for me, but there are lots of other colors. Wearing a S.

4) Shimmer stripe sweater- I really liked the fabric on this, and if the background of the more colorful one was black, and not navy, it would be mine. The shimmer was subtle and not scratchy. I did not like the fabric of the solid version- very different, stiffer and a lot more Lurex, so did not have a great feel in hand. Wearing a S.

5) Wool and Cashmere blend tie sweater- loved how this looked and draped. It’s a bit thicker/heavier than I like for my climate, so I left it behind, but that’s really because I’m being fairly picky in what I add at this point. I also thought the price was just a bit high for the quality. The Boden 100% cashmere sweaters were just one rack over at my store, and for a similar price, I thought those were nicer.

Other notes- I did not try on the tweed jacket with faux fur trim. Thin fabric for a tweed, weird texture. The stripe cashmere wrap was beautiful though, and my 10yo also approved of it. I’m still contemplating that piece, because the colors are amazing. The picture in the find does not do it justice.

I found the fits TTS- sometimes I think Halogen runs slightly large, but not this particular line. Also, my arms are slightly short, so most people would probably find the sleeve length to be fine, though it appears long on me in most of these pictures.

I’ll be curious what others think, if you order, or see the line at a store.
