I'm in between.
It's almost seasonless because it lends itself to skewing to whites and pastels one season and to black, cobalt, deep reds for colder weather. Not that those colors are totally season-linked, but you get the picture. White slacks and sandals in summer. Black pencil skirt with tights and booties in early spring and early winter, yeah. For that reason I think it seems like an excellent purchase.
As Angie and Suz said, if one runs cold-natured, then one may jump at the chance to shift to wooly warm things as soon as a bit of nip is in the air. I don't wear my jackets indoors much but if I did, I'd be happy in wool flannel. I do start wearing wool sweaters at the least drop in the thermometer.
So maybe it's a 3-season jacket! Still is super versatile. What is great about it is that if the weather changes up on you a bit within a week or a month, you can warm up or cool down the rest of the outfit a bit and still wear the jacket. Maybe you will end up putting it aside for your coldest months, but I still think it's way more than a summer jacket.
I am starting to pay more attention to somewhat season-less clothing because I want to wear each outfit/item more often and update more regularly. But since we do have 4 seasons here, it's still important to have some things for 100+ degree days, and cozy outfits for mid-winter. These aren't going to be season-less. But I'm trying to keep those capsules leaner now and "stretch" other items to cover. And also, to think carefully about how color combinations help fill the desire for seasonal change-ups. Your floral jacket does a lot of that.
