I wasn't sure if I wanted a proper pixie cut, so my hairdresser and I decided to go for a short cut instead just to test the waters. Mostly this means that the back and fringey sides are gone, but I've still got plenty of length on top.
This photo was taken with a phone camera the day of the cut (last week) so it's still styled properly. I'm still struggling a bit to know how to make it look right, but overall I'm pretty happy with it being this short.
If I still like it in a few weeks, we might go even shorter... depends on how I feel.
