I didn't buy much this year, mostly a repeat of items I'd bought in the past. Joe's Honey curve bootcut jeans in a size larger--I regained 5 pounds and the old ones are now aspirational but will be worn again. My annual or semi-annual Paige Manhattan boot cuts, some bras and undies, the black NYDJ you've seen, and the best thing, a pair of Nike's. The jeans will have to be hemmed as usual, but I'm not sure I want to make 2 treks to the mall to get that done. I may take them to our local seamstress if she's still in business.
I used to buy Nike's but haven't for a long time. I remember them as being comfortable for my problem feet. These came in a color I couldn't resist: Rust Pink/Orange Pearl, which was sold out last time I looked.
No sweaters, no tops, not even any jackets. I've bought a lot of stuff during the pandemic and I don't need anything more. I did buy some dresses and tops on the J Crew sale, but alas, I apparently didn't take photos of them yet. It's been a busy few weeks for me.
I did try a True bralette, which seems like it will work. Alas, I didn't pay attention to the size on the Chantelle bras on sale and accidentally ordered 2 of them 2 cup sizes too small. I don't particularly like the sale bra as it turns out. Back they go.
The wild card item were the Nike's! I love them and they are comfortable. Didn't find any other shoes I liked, again unusual for me. They will look great with the vacation wardrobe I'm assembling--holding my breath--will see family first time since Dec 2019. Going for rust, brown, cream, and of course, blue denim.
