One of the things I was looking for during NAS was a rain jacket for warmer weather. I posted earlier about the Pendleton raincoat, which I sent back both because the fit wasn't right for me, and because it was way too warm for what I wanted.

I also ordered this Zella jacket once it came back into stock, which obviously has a very different vibe than the Pendleton jacket, and I think it's a winner. The fabric is very stretchy and comfortable and feels way less stifling than the Pendleton did. There are also mesh vents in various places to add with breathability, which I really like. Here, we get a lot of warm, humid rainy days in the summer, and it's so easy to overheat/get sweaty in your rain gear. The down side to the comfier fabric is that I don't think it's 100% waterproof (it does not profess to be, just water resistant) but I splashed some water on it and it does bead up instead of soaking in so I think it'll be OK for most rain.

Also it has nice roomy zip-up pockets, a good sized hood, and thumb holes, all of which are plusses for me.

It runs quite small, as all the reviews seem to suggest as well. I got a large; a medium would fit because it's quite stretchy but would be skintight on me.

I got it in black, and it looks quite sleek. (It also comes in a tomato red, which is not my thing but looks cool as well; I do think the red looks more gearish than the black.)

Sorry, no photos! I'm at work right now, but if anyone is really interested I could snap a couple at home later tonight.
