Rabbit, she actually colour coordinates most with my bed! hehe When she curled up on it, she blended right in. Should make dealing w shedding easier!
Thnx Tanya!
RachyLou, I agree: temperament was the most important factor in my decision. Hence why I’m adopting an adult cat who’s been fostered, so a very known quantity.
Astrid, your cats are adorable! I can see why you’d miss those sweet faces!
Thank you Louise.
Summer, I’ll get a cat tree so that she can be extra high if she wants, but I’m pretty sure my furniture & window sills will provide enough bed options for everything else! Definitely no extra bed required, hehe.
Diane, enrich is just the right word!
Suz, she’s definitely got Siamese in her: blue eyes, darker on her tips, and she tends towards the long & slender side of things. And she talks like a Siamese, according to her foster mom. What drew my attention at first was her profile, which described her as super friendly, just as you predicted (the phrase was ‘heat seeking missile’ LOL). I want a people-cat for sure. Luckily I’m home almost all of the time, so I can provide lots of attention & petting! And she’s buddies with her foster mom’s little dog, so I think that’ll work out quickly too. She’s smaller than Thistle, unlike the cats Thistle’s used to, so that might make Thistle like her more! lol
Thanks LA Celeste!
Thank you KellyGirl. And kudos for fostering yourself; it’s fabulous people like you who make it easy for people like me to find just the right pets! (Thistle was fostered too before I adopted her.)
Thank you Angie.
Lol Alasse! In regular life, the cat is more beige/creams with dark brown tips, while Thistle is shades of grey. But all neutrals go together, right?
Thanks TexStyle, I hope they’ll be friends!
Haha, thanks Diana! I have picked a name: Moth.
