Quick & easy foundation/tinted moisturizer/bb cream?

What is your choice for foundation/base/tinted moisturizer etc. on those days when you just need to swipe something on and go? My go-to has been the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer (the oil-free version) but it's not coexisting happily with my new very hydrating skincare routine and the high humidity these days. Any suggestions for something that's not drying, but will stay put?

Amorepacific foundation/sunscreen compact. You might like La Roche Posay’s tinted sunscreen, but I found it greasy.

i like erborian cc creme. it's too pink for me so i mix with a pinhead amount of deciem (i know...) niod phototography fluid opacity 8, the darker one.

i love nars radiant longwear foundation applied with a damp sponge. i mix half a pump with half a pump of becca backlight priming filter over japanese sunscreen. lasts 6-8 hours. probably more if you set with powder but i can't be bothered. it wears nicely during the day and does not oxidize. it looks like skin only better. BUT only if applied with a sponge. it's streaky when applied with fingers and real techniques brushes. i haven't tried with more expensive brushes like hourglass.

I rather like this stuff from Andalou. It has a light rose scent, is not greasy, and is pretty un-noticeable once it's on. It is sheer though, definitely not "full coverage" so I guess it depends on your preference.

Try using a primer under your foundation. It helps the foundation "stick" and sit nicely even with humidity.

My favorite foundation is the original Bare Minerals powder foundation. Don't be turned off because it's powder... its actually very easy to apply, is VERY comfortable, and starts off light but can easily be built up for more coverage.

I just recently moved from years using 100% pure to mineral fusion B.B. tinted moisturizer. I switched because 100% was either always out of stock for my desired color or kept changing colors.

I have heard great things about IT Cosmetics CC cream. I tried it but then had to take it off because there was citrus in it. I am allergic to citrus.

I use regular foundation and a dot of moisturizer, mix them in my hands and slap it on.

I tried Oil of Olay because I've had success with other of their products working with my allergies.

I couldn't use it because the smell drove me nuts, and i couldn't find a scentless version.

The woman I gave gave my bottle to loved it and continued buying it after the one I gave her ran out.

I'm with Beth - my summer skin enhancer (lighter than a foundation, not as slippery as a tinted moisturizer) is Bare Minerals Original, applied with a "soft focus" brush. It's the only thing that will stay on and make me look finished but not overly made-up in the summer. In spring, after I've got a little color (not that I try! I used 45 sunscreen to water the plants on the deck!) I like IT Your Skin But Better, but it doesn't stay put in our summer humidity.

I had long been a fan of Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer, but switched over to Nars instead lately, mainly for color reasons. I do layer a heck of a lot of primer (I use the Nars radiance primer too) moisturizer, serum and hyaluronic acid under it and it stays put pretty well unless I have to wipe almond butter off my face or something.

When I do wear something on my skin I use Boots No7 tinted moisturizer. It’s very light, which I prefer. No7 is an inexpensive line of makeup created for the British Boots drugstore. I’ve been very impressed with both the skincare and the makeup over the last decade.

Bobbi Brown Extra SPF 25 Tinted Moisturizing Balm. Feels rich and creamy, but can be applied as lightly as you like. She also has some light powders for finishing.

Chanel BB Cream OR....and surprisingly fantastic and inexpensive...Maybelline New York Fresh BB Cream (rave reviews and cosmetician recommended) . I too find the LM cream too greasy and shiny in summer with all the other hydrating products going on underneath.

I do the same thing as Torontogirl, I mix my regular foundation which is Jane Iredale BB cream into an untainted mineral based sunscreen possibly with moisturizer. I have used all sorts but right now I am rotating between one from La Roch Possay and Cerave. They seem to provide the right moisture balance for my skin over the course of a week. I honestly don’t need a lot of foundation. The BB cream I have is not for coverage, but it does help reduce some mild redness that I get sometimes.

Like Kate, I like No. 7 tinted moisturizer or BB or CC cream. It is light and not greasy, but not drying either. I chose it first for the color as I have a hard time finding something that does not turn yellow or pink.

Loreal has a nice BB cream. I have used it a few times. It has a very light coverage. I have also used Smashbox BB cream. Smashbox's colours tend to be very warm/golden which work for me but may not be for everyone.
I used to be a fan of Laura Mercier's tinted moisturizer but stopped using it. I found it very irritating to my sensitive skin.

It Cosmetics has a tinted moisturizer called Bye Bye Foundation that does the trick for me.

Have you tried primer and setting spray with your makeup? (smashbox primer and urban decay "all nighter" setting spray). I use Laura Mercier Silk Creme oil free Photo Edition foundation. I sweat in the summer. I don't use a lot of foundation but i know if I go without primer & setting spray my makeup tends to "melt off my face". Do you live near a Sephora? I would go in and share your concerns regarding your skin with them. Get a color IQ for your skin (determines what foundations/tinted moisturizers-color & type--work for you). Tell the people at Sephora that you would like 3 samples to take home. Try those samples and decide what you feel works for your skin (all day). I ALWAYS get samples before I commit to buying foundation/tinted moisturizer. What works for others may not work for me. Good luck. (If you don't live near a Sephora consider going to a department store makeup counter to get samples)

Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer with SPF when I want sun protection on my face after Angie's recommendation. I use it on my chest area too. I don't like using chemical sunscreen but I cave in for my face/chest area if I'm going to be out in it for any prolonged period of time.

Like La Pedestrienne, I've been having good results with Andalou Naturals tinted moisturizer (I use the "age-defying" flavor). It blends well and has a nice finish, dewy and natural. (I have combo skin, wrinkles and breakouts, and redness, whee!)

I've been using the Bare Minerals' BB cream for more than a year now, and really like the finish and how easy and quick it is to apply.
I recently started layering it over Dr Jart Cicapair Tiger Grass color correcting treatment for a little more SPF protection and color correction for my redness. The finish is definitely more "dewy" than matte, and after a long day (or sometimes half a day) I'm shinier than I'd like, but it doesn't bother me enough to change- I get by with blotting papers when feeling self conscious. When more coverage/shine control is more important to me I layer the Bare Minerals powder foundation over the BB cream whereever I feel I need it.

The best tinited moisteriser I have ever used would have to be Revision Intellishade (more on https://www.gurureviewclub.com.....isturizer/ ). I have been using it for about a year now and wouldn't go back to anything else I have ever tried. It is the perfect coverage. Gives my skin a glowy look which many people comment on and ask what make up products I use.

For every day I use
Suntegrity 5-in-1 tinted sunscreen.
I love this. It's a physical chemical free sunscreen. The tinting is very light and doesn't cover imperfections well if you have any. I like that.
I use "fair'. It's very light and a neutral tint. "Light" is too yellow for my neutral-pink complexion.

For special occasions, or going out I use
La Mer Soft Fluid Foundation.
It's a bit spendy, but it lasts a long time.
It does a beautiful job evening out my complexion, doesn't settle in fine lines, is completely undetectable and it doesn't oxidize with wear (on my skin) and gives my skin a glow

I received a tube of Burt’s Bees BB (or maybe CC?) cream as a gift and like it a lot. I haven’t had luck with their makeup products in the past but this one works well.
