Quick COS trip, need opinions

I stopped by COS (and Anthro, BR and Nordstrom’s) yesterday, and checked out a few items. The main point of the trip was to look at short-sleeved blouses to pair with a Boden Richmond skirt I bought this spring.

I could use some opinions/thoughts on all of these-

1) A-Line shirt- I love how this fits through the shoulders, and the breeziness of it. But, does it work with the skirt? Should I have tried a semi-tuck?

2) Silk shirt- this is a top pick, and I can see why. Gorgeous! Tried a semi-tuck with this. The pic does not do it justice. But, it’s dry clean only. Trying to decide if I risk washing it, or move on.

3) Assymetric neck dress in yellow (size is one smaller than I want) or dark green (size is one larger.) Does the yellow work at all with my coloring? I love the color and shape, and am very tempted to order in my size.

Thoughts and opinions welcome- even if you think none of these work and I should move on.

LOVE the first white shirt. KILLER. It works well with the pencil skirt. No need to semi-tuck.

LOVE the dark green dress. Better colour and size than the yellow. Gorgeous with the yellow shoes. KILLER.

Adore your Boden skirt too.

I think the white is lovely - I have two silk tops and I wash them - they have held up well. They are not workhorses but are both about 8 yrs old.

I am not sure about the yellow - I do like the green. I think the larger size or true size could both work depending on the look you want.

The two white shirts look much the same on my iPad. Are they 1-3, the same shirt? I agree with what Angie said...green in larger size with the yellow shoes.

I prefer the shirt fully tucked to get enough structure.
I really like the COS dress in both colours. I’m not sure about which size is better.

i love the yellow dress on you. really warms up your features. have you tried one size up? this one looks like it fits in the shoulders.

I really like the white shirt tucked or untucked .Not sure about the dresses though,you look good in them but they are a little avant grade for my taste but then I won’t be wearing them so it’s how you feel in them that matters.

I love the white shirt -- elegant! Silk is easy to wash. I put mine in wash (sometimes in garment bag) on delicate, hang to dry, then iron.

The green dress is lovely -- I like it better than the yellow.

Thanks, everyone! To clarify- the yellow dress is an XS, and the green is a M. The yellow was a bit snug through the waist and hips, and the M was too large through the shoulders- large enough that I’d be fussing with it. So, S it is, in green.

Photos 1-2 are the A-Line shirt in a cotton. 3 is the silk one (sorry no find, since I’m on my phone.)

I love the white silk blouse semi-tucked. It allows the full beauty of that skirt to shine, it's flattering, and I just love its sort of retro appeal. For me, far better than the untucked A-line top.

Also, I'm glad you've settled on a S for the dress - the green looks big to me. And maybe it's just the sunny day, but I much prefer the yellow (although probably not with yellow shoes). It's a beautiful shade and looks great with your coloring.
