Love the pants as styled with your bright yellows! The shirt is too casual for your style---but can work-for exactly that! I only wouldn't style the red and yellow pants with those white ankle sandals when wearing with the shirt, rather a sneaker, or flat slides...slip ons or slippers.

I like the pants a lot styled with the yellow, but I too like your older shirt much more than the one you were considering. I think it has a nicer shape.

Don’t keep what you will not enjoy wearing. Think about the hot weather ahead. How do you want to dress?i.i,e these pieces on you but you need to like them.

Just returned the shirt. It was probably combination of boxy shape and washed out neutral color that was not doing it for me. I wanted easy casual shirt but image I had in mind was very different from the one in the mirror
