Ariadne, sorry, I don't do pictures, I'm just not comfortable with it. Often I'm tempted, and I definitely enjoy looking at other people's WIW, but I feel weird about having pictures of myself out there. I'm uncomfortable enough when I get tagged on Facebook.

Maybe one day. I've toyed with the idea of just posting WIW drawings, but that kind of thing takes time, so it hasn't happened yet.

Every time I look at the shoes, I like them more. Since you wear a lot of navy, gray and denim, the burgundy ones would be versatile.

And referencing the other thread about "cuteness", these shoes would definitely take care of that!

I like what Deborah said - they're statement shoes. And I think they're very cool. If I wore them, then I would make sure the rest of the outfit is kinda understated.

I really like them, by the way, and don't find them too out there. (And screw the whole soccer mom aesthetic). And most importantly, your hubs is totally behind you here! How could you go wrong! I like the black and burgundy equally, so whichever color works for you.

I haven't read any other responses yet but my word is "witchy" Thats not necessarily a bad thing. I think they are very interesting and I could have fun wearing them, lol.

Haven't read a single response above, but you asked for first response. Mine is "nasty." ???? Some people might like that, and it might look good on them. Nowhere near my own style or taste.

Maybe "blunt"? I noticed the toes first. They are kinda neat.
