I have a luncheon to go to in early June, and I envisioned myself wearing a floaty Joie top and structured white pants (not jeans, and not linen). I tried on white pants at Nordstrom, Banana Republic, Ann Taylor and J Crew, and found that all of the white pants were see through. The worst were the fabulous fitting Sloans at BR. They were so transparent that the fabric content tag showed though in the front. If it were just a matter of cutting off tags (or sewing closed and cutting out pockets), it wouldn't be a big deal, but the seams show through, as well as the lining around the zipper.
