Question (to help oldest daughter)

My oldest daughter was offered a new job which she accepted. She received her new hire packet yesterday. With it was note stating the owner had noticed she has body art and it will have to be covered.

She has two the one on her back will be easy to cover the one on her foot harder. Any suggestions.

Opaque hosiery, higher vamped shoes or body make up should do the trick for her foot.

Where, exactly is the tattoo on her foot? Is it on the top of her foot? On her ankle?

I have successfully used special camaflouge makeup to cover mine when I felt really uncomfortable with it. It's sort of a pain, but the good stuff will last through several showers if you don't soak it or scrub it and if you don't rub it or put lotion on it. That's not too hard when it's on a pretty "clean" area of your body that doesn't get grimy.

What sort of job/dress code will she have? Are shoe/pant options feasible for covering?

Body make-up, of a thick kind migh be the easiest thing to do.

During the winter it's easy, opaque tights and boots. During the summer it's more difficult, she can use leg make-up (dermablend has a good one):

Thanks everyone! It is on the top of her foot. Right in the middle. I told her I would go with her tomorrow to see what we could find. In the winter she will have a much easier time with it.

At the interview she had on pants but I guess they could still see it.

Angie she wore my new blue jacket to her interview. Said she got lots of compliments!

How about a T-strap or Mary Jane with straps strategically placed to cover the tattoo? Some body make-up will help along with that too. Sandal booties? Nude micro fishnets? Cooler weather will assist in managing the coverage.

I hope Julie chimes in. She has body art on her feet and needs to cover up too.

I've heard derma blend is very good and lasts a long time. I think it's more specialty, so maybe at a department store versus a drugstore?
