Question re:Labor Day "Week"ness for short booties and a good sale (which ends tomorrow)

Hallo.

New to this. . . Contemplating a pair of fall/winter Chloe mid-heel boots online. Run true to size?
It's a hassle to return if the size isn't right, so seeing if the collective braintrust has an opinion for best guess.

I normally wear a 36EU | 37Fr | 6US in Rachel Comey, Coclico, Fausto Santini, Ferragamo, Prada, Stuart Weitzman, Everlane, Birkies, Camper,
but outliers are
35.5 in Chie Mihara
36.5 in Versace, Coach

I tried using the site's "if you wear this brand, your rec'd size is X", but I get anywhere from a 5.5 - 6.5 with different brands.

Do I need them. No. Do I want to fill a multi-level void, in the closet and outside with covid. Maybe. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hi Rebecca I can’t help because I don’t think I have ever owned any of your brands listed above, although I have the same size feet EU 36. Actually that size is sometimes a US 5.5 for me, and I also own some US 6.5 Steve Madden boots which fit with an insole. I live in NZ and tend to have NZ or Australian brands with some imported from Europe as well. A US 6 I thought equated more to a 37, and a 37 is often slightly too big for me. I therefore try to order a 36 all the time if buying online.

Welcome Reb. I’ve never bought any Chloe shoes. I’d email or ring Chloe and ask for the size you want and a size either side in cms.. That way you can compare to your foot and other shoes you own to be be more certain of the correct size.

I have no advice on sizing, as the only brand in your list that I've worn is Birkenstock But, you are in a great place for advice! Welcome!

Weirdly, it's never occurred to me to call the brand. Genius?!
Got my answer.

For the record, Chloe runs true to size, front to back of foot and runs slightly narrow left to right on all shoes, outside of the Suzanna boot which is made from an old foot pattern.

That’s great, glad Deb’s idea worked for you. Funnily enough the Chloe Susanna boot is the only Chloe style I know- I think my Steve Maddens from 2013 are a kind of knockoff of them or at least inspired by them.
I didn’t know that at the time though, I just fell in love with the boots. I remember seeing a pic of the Susanna ones in red on some celeb- gorgeous!

Thanks for showing! They have an interesting inner zipper, heel looks too high for me but hopefully comfortable for you.
