Question on Ann Taylor shipping policy

Angie and her winter white post made me lust after winter white trousers all over again.
Unfortunately there is no Ann Taylor stores in Canada.
Fortunately I will be in US after Dec 3 so I can try and order them to my hotel.
So as I have never ordered anything from AT here are my questions:
1. How fast their orders usually arrive? Do I have a chance to get it in time for my visit?
2. I cannot find if returns are free. Anybody has experience with their online returns?

Ann Taylor has come to Canada!!!

The bad news. We still cannot online shop.

The good news. If you call the store and they have the item they will ship it to you for (they told me) $7.95.

Eventually (they told me) they will have online shopping in Canada.

There are TWO stores now. Eaton Centre and Yorkdale (opening this weekend).

Anyway...just in case, you might want to check to see if they have the pants first in Canada. Though they probably won't, in tall sizes.....(sigh)

And how great that you will be able to get them in the US if the first option does not work!

Thanks, Suz. This is helpful. If they ship to you what about returns - how easy are they? I don't want top drive to Toronto to return them
Because I go to US anyways I will try there...
BTW we should get together in Toronto someday and check AT out in person!

I can't remember what they said about returns (or if I even asked). I was there in the Eaton Centre store just after it opened.

One good thing: prices will be the same in Canada and the US (unlike some stores). So what it is listed as in the US will be our CAD price also.

Bad thing: specials are different. They would not honour a coupon I had and will run different sales.

It would be fun to check out the store in person together for sure!!

Sveta, when I have returned to Ann Taylor, I have done it by bringing things to the store. Would it be possible for you to have the stuff delivered to your hotel, and then return before you fly back?
