Question for those with AT slouchy pants

Aida was so sweet and ordered these for me. I tried 4P and 6P and am struggling with whether to keep either or neither one. Added to that it's impossible to get accurate photos somehow - I must have taken 50 shots trying to capture the difference. Both technically fit around the waist, with the 6 sitting lower and no option of pulling up. Since I have no hips or derriere, the 6 is really loose and flowy, but I'm not sure it's the right kind of slouch. The 4P fits somewhere between the way it fit Aida (not slouchy enough per the forum) and the way the regular 4 fit her. The length is plenty long and probably could be shortened a bit.

I will attempt to post pictures again, but does anyone have any helpful suggestions based on that description?

Hmm, it's so hard to say without seeing them on you, Una.

I bought 2 sizes in them, and they fit totally differently on me than they did on Aida, because I have hips that are smaller in proportion to my waist and a flat derriere. Not exactly like you, because I'm much larger, but similar.
My usual size was really huge on me, and even the next size down was ample in the hips. Here's a picture of the smaller size.

I was all ready to keep them until I discovered the wrinkling issue, and then I found the Classiques Entier pink ones, and preferred them. (50% off now, not to enable you....)

Hmm, Parsley, what was the wrinkling issue? They have those pink ones at my Nordstrom and I'm inclined to try them since I don't have to get them shipped. How does the fit run? Sounds like we have similar fit issues!

Una, I sat down in the Ann Taylor pants for a few minutes, and the whole crotch area, and behind the knees was a mass of wrinkles! It really looked terrible. Nobody else has complained about it, so maybe it's just me, but it was a deal breaker for me. The Nordstrom ones don't do that.
The fit runs true to size.on the Nordies ones.
