Hi, Taylor - I can't stop thinking about how great you looked in your recent post where you were wearing your white no-iron Brooks Brothers shirt (with popped collar, no less

Did it fit you that perfectly as it came, or did you have that altered. . . ?

(Brooks Bros is having a sale (for a couple more days) and I may check them out, but wondering what to expect

Thank You Sara, I really love these.

They come in 3 different fits, tailored, fitted and classic. Tailored is their slimmest fit,so I order a 0 on line, they don't carry my size in stores They are beautifully tailored and very slim fitting:) No alterations needed:)

I didn't realise they were having a sale, so thanks for the heads up.

Just so you know, these wash up GREAT, but DO NOT use fabric softener, it ruins the never iron factor and makes them too soft!!

I think their sale runs through the 6th (just two more days!) both in stores and online.

You are in good shape when you already know what works for you! I hope I am impressed when I check them out tomorrow in person. . .

And thanks for the fabric softener tip - I am usually too lazy to bother with it, but that clinches it for me

They are so lovely, again I am jealous about the online shopping options in the UK. There is a Brooks Bros on Regent Street in London, but no online shopping option - not that finding a size 0 is really an issue for me ;).

I haven't once popped in, I am slightly intimidated by the shop.

Note that when they call something a "blouse," the buttons don't begin right at the top, as they do when they call it a "shirt," but lower down. It's like it has a built-in open V-neck.

April, thanks for the pics and the blouse/shirt definition. I like the blouse neckline better, but can't find any 'blouses' online. I will ask at the store.

Taylor, someone reviewing the shirt commented on the extra length and how that was nice with low rise pants

April or Taylor - someone also commented that these are crisp enough that they work better alone - not tucked into a skirt or under a sweater. What do you ladies think? April, I can see yours under a vest and it looks fine to me!

For some reason, on the site they are calling the non-petite version a shirt and the petite version a blouse, but I think they are the identical style:

Regular ("shirt"):

Also, MNS, I think the fabric is substantial enough that tucking in might feel bunchy, but you could put a sweater or vest over the top with no problem. Taylor, do you tuck yours in?

These shirts are crisp, that is why the collar stands SO well. And just to repeat do not use fabric softener, it makes them too soft.

Although they are crisp, they are not stiff or starchy feeling:)!!

My trip to BB needs to be put off until tomorrow but they don't have my (presumed) size in stock anyway and would have to order it for me. So, I'll be going just to be sure of sizing. . .

I am looking forward to being BB twins (triplets?)
