I thrifted this denim skirt a while back and love it. I've worn it once to work for Denim Days and would like to get a lot of use out of it as it fits perfectly.
My question is how difficult would it be, or is it even possible, for my seamstress to sew the front seam closed so that the buttons become merely decorative, and instead put in a zipper in the centre back? The buttons don't gape but I worry they will and so then fuss with them throughout the day. This would eliminate my concern.
