Marilyn and others: Yes, I went down a band size and up two cup sizes in the Feathers model.
DonnaF: thanks for the link to bratabase. I didn't know there had been so much research done on breast shape and size and positioning.
It makes me think that the Feathers is actually a little WIDE and that I should try the Freya line, with cups that are closer together.
Diana: it was so interesting to hear your experience with this bra. The feathers actually bisect my boob almost at the half way point, and the cup is big enough (and the lace, forgiving enough) that there is no quad boob. I have a long torso.
It is encouraging to know that there ARE options for bras and that not everything has been consolidated around 1 pattern, which is what t feels like for regular clothing.
