Question about hooded moto jackets

I've been trying to order the Caslon in a medium petite but my order keeps getting canceled. In the mean time, I ordered the BlankNYC in green because one of the comments said the sleeves were on the short side (the only reason I usually need petite.) Can anyone who has tried these tell me if either are relaxed enough (not stiff) for indoor wear? TIA!

The jacket is very soft and pliable. Really nice feeling. It does seem to be fairly substantial and warm though. Take into consideration that it is in the 90s here today though. which makes it hard to be certain about winter indoor wear-ability.

I have relatively long arms and the arms were not too short on me, so I am not sure if you will be happy with the arm length or not.

I think it is an amazing jacket overall and am quite impressed.

Thanks for sharing your experience with the jacket! It sounds promising! If it's stiff, I probably won't wear it inside or out. It's worth a shot!

I have this jacket in XS and I was the one who said the sleeves ran short. I stand by that, although likely the sleeve length gets longer with larger sizes. FWIW, I'm just under 5'3" with a long torso and short arms; I do usually need the shorter armhole and sleeve length of petite sizes. If your closet has a mix of petite and regular sizes, and you wear a smaller size, I think you'll be happy with the sleeve length. If you always need petite sizes on top and wear a larger size, maybe the sleeves would still be too long.

I don't find the jacket very stiff and I plan to wear it as both an indoor (typing at my desk) and outdoor topper. I won't be layering a winter coat on top, as Angie likes to do, but I never do that with any of my jackets.

Thanks, Keix! I almost always wear regular in tops and I’m only 5’3”. if the medium petite comes back in stock, I’ll give that a go! Appreciate you chiming in.

Oops -- just realized I never specified which jacket I was talking about. I meant the BLANKNYC green jacket, which doesn't come in petite but the sleeves run on the shorter side of regular IMO.

Also, here's a pic I snapped today of the sleeve length of size XS on me! It hits right at the base of my thumb bone.

Thanks for clarifying, Keix! Sleeve length looks perfect for you. I have a feeling the medium in that jacket will be too long--historically, BlankNYC has not been a great fit. Sleeve length is close but fit is usually a little on the snug side for my shoulders and armholes but as they say, nothing ventured...
